☎️ 5 Ways To Book More Sales Calls

I just wrapped filming a brand-new mini-course exclusively for all Max’s Team (my new DFY lead gen agency) clients, all about how to book more sales calls.

Not just from our efforts… but from your other marketing efforts too.

Because what’s the point of getting leads if they don’t book a sales call?

And what’s the point of a booked call if they ghost?

So today, I’m pulling back the curtain and sharing the 5 booking optimization strategies I gave to our clients, now with you, as this week’s Growth Hack. Let’s go:

1. Optimize Your Booking Page

Your Calendly event title makes a huge difference!

❌ “Intro Call With Max”
✅ “Demo Call: How Bring You Tons Of Leads”

Why? People don’t want to hop on “intro” calls anymore. They want outcomes. They want transformation. So your event title should scream exactly what they’re going to get out of it.

👉 Mention the outcome in the title.
👉 Add FOMO — like “10 people already booked this week!”
👉 Bullet out exactly what you’ll cover — give them a reason to care.

The goal is to get them thinking: “I can’t afford to miss this.”

2. Add a Pre-Call Video

Record a quick 5-minute Loom that explains:

  1. A bit about your product or service

  2. A few high-level case studies

  3. Exactly what to expect on the call

Then share that video:

  • ✅ As the redirect page after they book (easy to set in Calendly)

  • ✅ In your pre-call reminder emails

This does two magical things:

  1. Reduces no-shows (they’re more invested)

  2. Lets you skip the small talk and dive straight into the problem-solving part of the call.

3. Set Up Calendly Reminder Emails (Seriously.)

It blows my mind how many people don’t have these turned on.

You must set reminders in Calendly at:

  • 48 hours before

  • 24 hours before

  • 1 hour before

💡 Pro Tip: Customize the body of the reminder email to include your Loom video from Hack #2 above. That one move alone has saved hundreds of calls from going cold.

4. Availability Hack

This one’s too powerful to share publicly. It’s the #1 difference between people who book and show up vs. people who book and flake.

Let’s just say: it has everything to do with how and when you make yourself available.

5. The 30% ‘No Lead Lost’

We use a two-step funnel where leads first enter their email… then are redirected to book a call.

But here’s the kicker: If they enter their email and don’t book, you HAVE TO follow up.

Why? We are able to get roughly 30% of those people to come back and book just from a great follow-up sequence.

And yes, we give those scripts to all our clients, which could be you!

If you’re not capturing that 30%, you’re leaking leads.
