My Favorite Zaps to Supercharge Your Business

If you’re a fan of automating the tedious stuff (like I am), this week’s Growth Hack is for you! I just heard that ZapConnect is back, and I couldn’t be more excited! With so many sessions on how to leverage AI and automations in Zapier, I decided to make this week’s Growth Hack 4 of my favorite Zapier automations!

1. Typeform + Beehiiv: Customizing Newsletter Segments

One of my go-to automations connects Typeform with Beehiiv. When someone signs up for this newsletter through their onboarding Typeform, Zapier helps me segment that subscriber based on the specific answers they provide. Whether they’re interested in growth hacks, automation tips, or both, Zapier automatically ensures they get tailored email content that speaks to their interests.

This keeps my newsletter personal and relevant without me manually sorting through sign-ups. Plus, it’s a great way to increase engagement and keep readers coming back for more!

2. Gmail + OpenAI: Drafting Customer Emails Automatically

One of my favorite Zaps is the one that connects Gmail with OpenAI. When I receive specific types of customer inquiries, this automation drafts a personalized response using AI trained on my typical responses. I review it, tweak a few words, and hit send. It’s like having an assistant that works around the clock, saving me tons of time while keeping my responses prompt and professional.

3. Unbounce + Google Sheets: Backing Up My Email List

Here’s a backup plan I swear by: I use Unbounce (the landing page tool I send all sign-up traffic to) and every time someone signs up, Zapier not only automatically adds their information to beehiiv (my email service provider) but also Google Sheets as a backup. Why? Just in case anything ever goes sideways with beehiiv or email deliverabilty, I know I’ve got a secure copy of my email list that’s always up to date.

This automation is a life-saver, ensuring that no valuable subscriber gets lost in the shuffle, and I’m always ready to switch gears if needed.

4. Slack + Calendly & QuickBooks: Streamlining New Client Onboarding

When a new lead books a call through Calendly or a client makes a payment via QuickBooks, my team get notified in Slack via Zapier. 

This means my team never has to wait for a manual update; they get a real-time notification and can start reashing the lad as soon as they book a call or start working on the account as soon as the client makes payment. No delays, no guesswork, just streamlined operations.
