Audits Are So 2024
Audits are the buzzkill of marketing services. “Let us audit your ads account,” “We’ll audit your SEO,” or “How about an audit of your Klaviyo email marketing strategy?” Yawn. Let’s be real: nobody wants another audit. People don’t crave a laundry list of what they’re doing wrong, they want you to assess what’s wrong, fix it for them, and deliver RESULTS.
They’re like the teacher who onlymarks up what you did wrong on your essay without showing the answers so you do better the next time. They’re stale, overplayed, and, frankly, you know the real reasons prospects hate them? They feel like homework. Your clients don’t want homework, I don’t want homework, no one wants homework.
Enter: Roasts
This is where Roasts come in. Instead of an audit that drones on about underwhelming CTRs and missed SEO opportunities, imagine delivering a punchy, entertaining teardown of their current strategy with actionable insights on next steps they can take to ace the test and improve. People don’t want an intro call, they want what used to calll at my agency a “4X ROI Strategy Call“ (or whatever lights their fire). Your sales language should excite, intrigue, and sell the outcome, not be jargon .
Transform Your Calls to Action:
❌ “Schedule an audit.”
✅ “Let’s roast your [ad/account/strategy] and show you how to crush the competition.”
❌ “Book a discover call.”
✅ “Join a 30-minute Brand Domination Strategy Session.”

We live ina world of viral twitter and politicians winning with memes! You think an “audit” will cut it? Head my warning: I meet too many companies that always look to their competitors for inspo. They think if it’s working for our slightly bigger competitor, it will work or us. Maybe! But do you wanna look, sound, and smell the same as your competitor?
Marketing is overcrowded with the same thing over and over again. Be different. Replace your audits with roasts, ditch boring intros for outcome-focused calls, and make your messaging pop. Remember, people don’t care about the process, they care about the outcome first, then the wanna know about the process.
Because who wants an audit when you can get roasted and walk away with actionable next steps that lead to real results?
