Well, this case study from Deodato on their work with Ka’Chava is one of the best growth playbooks I’ve seen in a while. This wasn’t just a “we scaled Meta ads” case study. This was a “we systematically grew the business across multiple channel” masterclass.

So what was the actual strategy? It was a 5-part growth engine that had every piston firing faster than than an F1 race car.

Here’s the breakdown 👇

1. Build a Creative Machine That Can Actually Scale

Most brands I meet with just throw ads at the wall and pray. Ka’Chava, with Deodato guiding the process, built a full-blown “Creative Engine” that actually worked:

  • They went from a 15% ad success rate to almost 60%.

  • They had systems in place to test creative across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and even Amazon.

  • They used real performance data to make each round of creative better than the last.

So instead of chasing short-term ROAS, they were funding future cash flow.

3. Turn Affiliate Into a Powerhouse, Not a Side Hustle

Most brands treat affiliates like a cherry on top. Ka’Chava, again with DEODATO’s playbook, turned it into a core acquisition engine:

  • 12% of all new DTC customers now come from affiliates.

  • They focused on vertical-specific partners and tracked long-term LTV to justify aggressive CPAs.

  • It wasn’t a side channel, it was a real channel.

4. Make Amazon a Top-of-Funnel Growth Channel

A lot of DTC brands only think about Amazon as a sales channel. Ka’Chava treated it as a new customer acquisition channel… and scaled it like one.

Deodato launched Amazon for them in late 2023 and in just 4 months:

  • New customers grew by 1,227%.

  • Revenue exploded by 1,350%.

They basically applied DTC-style creative, CRO, and media optimization to Amazon… and it worked like crazy. You know what I always say, treat the marketing channel your competitors half ass, as your biggest opportunity. 

5. Win Black Friday by Playing the Full Field

For 3 years in a row, Ka’Chava hit or beat both volume and CAC targets during BFCM. Why? Because Deodato orchestrated an entire cross-channel system:

  • Custom landing pages

  • Offer testing

  • Channel-specific creative

  • Meta, Google, Amazon, and email all working together

They didn’t hope for BFCM to work. Deodato engineered it to win.

Bottom line: Deodato didn’t just make ads. They made Ka’Chava’s entire growth engine run smoother, smarter, and faster. From creative to Amazon to affiliates to LTV-based budgeting… this was a full-stack execution playbook.
