👁️ The Most OVERLOOKED Hack Ever
You ever forgotten to hit publish?
That was me, on Friday… When I was running on little sleep cuz my baby girl is finally teething (getting the cutest two little front teeth) and keeping me up all night… anyways!
I present to you two SUPER important things for your business:

The Most OVERLOOKED Hack Ever
I played golf with an old friend who runs one of the largest e-commerce ad agencies on the planet, and asked how his business did last year, given all the tariff drama.
His answer floored me.
He said most of his clients had no choice but to increase prices by 20–30% just to keep margins intact… And guess what happened?
Nothing.
No real drop in conversion rates.
No increase in customer acquisition costs.
No dip in average order value.
Basically, every core metric stayed the same, but now these brands were simply making more revenue.
So my friend did the unthinkable: he raised his own agency’s prices by 30%.
...And his close rate stayed the exact same, too.
His big realization?
“Everyone thinks they’re competing on price. But they’re actually competing on presumed value.”
🔥 Boom. That’s the quote of the week!
🤔 So What Do YOU Do With This?
Most of us are stuck on this hamster wheel of:
Offering discounts
Giving more for less
Trying to undercut competitors
But that’s a race to the bottom game. The better game?
Figure out how to better articulate the value people presume they’re getting when they choose you.
Because if the perceived value is high enough, price doesn’t matter nearly as much as you think.
3 Quick Examples:
🧼 Example 1: Skincare DTC Brand
Old Thinking: “Let’s do a 20% off sale to drive volume.”
New Thinking: “Let’s raise prices by 25% and lean heavier into the position that our product is clinically backed by dermatologists who charge $300/hr.”
Takeaway: A better story increases presumed value way more than a discount.
📈 Example 2: Freelance Consultant
Old Rate: $100/hr
New Rate: $150/hr
Only Change: Updated site headline to “Trusted by 3 Fortune 500 teams to scale their customer acquisition strategy.”
Takeaway: If you look more legit, you can charge like you’re more legit. Even if the work is the exact f*cking same.
🍔 Example 3: Local Restaurant
Raised entree prices by 15%.
Put up a sign out front: “Our new seasonal menu sources ingredients from local farms within 50 miles.” … or add “Ma’s Famous” in front of one of your highest margin entrees.
Result: Higher ticket sizes, same foot traffic.
Takeaway: Price hikes are easier to swallow when paired with a compelling why.
💡 This Week’s Challenge:
Pick one of your core products or services and test a higher price without changing anything else. But before you do, ask yourself:
“How can I increase the perceived value of this offer?”
That’s where the magic is.
Let me know how it goes 🙂
