🚀 This is week’s growth hack: 2X Revenue in 60 Seconds
If I’m being honest with myself, I almost never have imposter syndrome. What I do suffer from though, is laziness and therefore a lack of “practice what you preach” execution on marketing efforts for my own projects. There’s no better example of this than last week.
You see I got a Facebook ad campaign live for my new site AgencyReviews.io targeting marketing agency owners dropping them off on what I thought would be a high-converting landing page AB test using my favorite AB testing tool.
After $500 in ad spend, all 4 landing page variants were averaging almost exactly a 1.3% conversion rate, turning about 250 visitors into 4 qualified leads.
I texted the landing page to one of my best entrepreneur friends and he texted back the following (copy and pasted from my phone right now):
“Bro! What do you always tell me? Dangle the carrot! You keep saying what you are selling but not the outcome of it! Dangle the carrot for these agency owners and ur money”
Now my friend is a little bro’y over text but he was right.
My mistake was saying WHAT my product does and not the OUTCOME of using my product.

So I opened up my landing page testing tool and changed a couple of the variants' taglines from:

The #1 thing my target audience wants is to grow their agency faster so I lead with that… The formula is:
So in my case that’s “grow faster” (the carrot) with “warm agency the leads” (the how) … take a split second right now to think, what that is for you!
I also updated the call to action section:
To remind them yet again this is not just book another boring demo… but rather the first step in the journey to growing your agency faster!
The results?
Within 24 hours I saw a 2X increase in the landing page’s conversion rate and it’s stayed steady ever since! Imagine if my friend never reminded me that selling outcomes (something I preach all the time) was the way to better results for my landing page? Instead, I get:
2X increase in leads = 2X increase in revenue (if my call show-up rate & sales conversion rate hold)
So that’s how you 2X your revenue in 60 seconds!
Now in this case, I needed my friend to remind me of something I preach all the time… so let me be that friend right now & remind you of this week’s Growth Hack:
Find 3 opportunities, across all of your marketing efforts this week, to better remind your target audience that by buying your product, they are accomplishing their #1 goal (in my case, growing their agency faster).
