🚀 This Week's Growth Hack: How To Decrease CPL By 95%

I’m happy to share that this week’s Growth Hack is one of those easy-to-implement, low-cost, and quickly impactful things any company in any industry can do to drive more growth quickly.

To fuel growth, you need potential new customers right? Whether you sell a service via an agency model or a physical product via an e-commerce store, the fuel to your growth is new customers’ emails. You can hit their inbox with your offer, value props, lead magnets, and testimonials. Well here’s the story of how one finance company netted 61,190 interested net new leads and lowered their CPL by 95%.

You see Ross gets most of his new clients from a profitable Facebook ads funnel that drives traffic to a landing page offering a lead magnet. But when he started advertising on the platform years ago he was spending about $1 to get a lead and with the the rising costs of Facebook ads, he’s now paying around $3.50 which makes it harder and harder to run his funnel at a profitable margin. So he went searching for a solution to increase profitability and capture more emails (aka leads) to add to his high-performing email drip campaigns from his Facebook ads funnel.

He stumbled upon this new technology that reveals webpage visitors with a 37.3% accuracy, meaning that out of 3,000 or so daily landing page visitors he was getting from Facebook ads, he would be able to identify more than 1,100 emails to add to his drip sequences. This technology alone led to a decrease in CPL from $3.50 to $0.17!!!

Some marketers, myself included, are def skeptical that this new technology is not 100% legal, but doing my research for this Growth Hack deep dive, I’m happy to report this new tehc is 100% CAN SPAM compliant.

In fact, it’s safe to say visitors didn’t hate being added to his email drip sequence without being added to his form as evidenced by his drip sequence’s 4.3% click rate on emails sent to this list of revealed emails.

Ross was able to add 61,190 new leads to his drip sequences within the first 90 days of installing this technology on his landing pages leading to a 3X+ ROI given his cost per lead was $0.17 and his revenue per lead is $0.68.
