The 3 Ways You Should Be Repurposing Content

I read this crazy stat yesterday that 46% of marketers pointed to content repurposing as the best content marketing strategy for the best results. With budgets being tightened in marketing departments big and small, many marketers I speak to are finding that repurposing content saves them the BIG BUCKS it takes to create new good quality content. And itā€™s less-time consuming.

But I feel like ā€œcontent repurposingā€ is one of those things everyone talks about and never really does. So I wanted to detail the 3 clever ways my clients and followers are repurposing content:

1 - Transform your Blogs, White papers, & Guides into Engaging Videos 

You know that white paper that is 20 pages long and took thousands of dollars to create? Especially that one you made last year and did nothing with? Well. That could be a video. And the same goes for your blog posts, guides, and other gated content. They could all be videos to be shared on social, your website, or even in emails!

For example, if your blog article is titled ā€œProving Your Companyā€™s Data Is Safeā€ ā€¦ you could create one video but make multiple variations where the first thing people see in the video is ā€œHow We Keep Agenciesā€™ Data Safeā€ and ā€œHow We Keep Marketing Teamā€™s Data Safeā€ and ā€œHow We Keep Sales Teamā€™s Data Safeā€ without needing to create multiple blog articlesā€¦

Now your team has a custom video to send to each prospect and your website has custom videos for each of your target audienceā€™s landing pages! All because you repurposed an old blog into sexy new video assets.

3 - Create an explainer video highlighting whatā€™s on your page
