🚀 This Week’s Growth Hack: How To Hire A Truly Great Marketing Agency

If I had a dollar for every time I heard “I don’t know how to pick a marketing agency” or “the agency I found sucks” I wouldn’t need to sell ads in this newsletter. Finding a great agency is hard. I know the challenges first hand, as a former 7-figure agency owner and as a client to multiple agencies at this very moment.

Why is that? It’s because there’s no resource keeping agencies accountable. Something that exposes the shitty agencies and brings to light the great ones.

Restaurants have Yelp or Google My Business. Car companies have J.D. Power ratings and awards. Car resellers have Carfax. Apps have the app store reviews. Skincare brands have Trustpilot or Amazon reviews… What do agencies have? Nothing.

When things aren’t working and you feel like they agency is ghosting you. So ask about their communication cadences, if you can add them on slack, how often you can have a standing call…

2- Proof Of Case Studies

When an agency shows “4X ROI” for an ad campaign, ask them for screenshots of the ads manager showing the 4X ROI… It’s very easy to pass “we achieved a 4X ROI on 1 campaign” as a total 4X ROI for an entire client… Ask for proof to expose just how much they might white-lying!
