Wisdom Wednesday
As most of you know by now, I sometimes send ad-free Wednesday afternoon newsletters when there are opportunities & insights worth sharing outside of my normal Growth Hacks Weekly sends on Sunday evenings.
I only send when I have things I believe are worth sending which is why they come at a complete cadence.
Here are 3 for this week:
1 - Win $500?
I promise you this is not an ad! My friend’s CRM company is considering a pivot and is offering a $500 Amazon gift card to one person who fills out this 90-second survey!
If you are in B2B, please do him and me a big solid by taking 90 seconds to answer it:

But if you can make it more personalized, like grüns does, that conversion rate is guaranteed to increase significantly. The best part? After you choose the problem you're trying to solve (from the picture on the left) the copy changes to enter your email to learn how our product helps you solve for the one you just chose.
Not only does it tap into one of my favorite marketing pscyology principles “Someone who takes a small first action is 80% more likely to take a larger second action” but in general, the more personalized you can make any sort of lead-gen signup page, the better:
Grüns' welcome pop‑up is the best I’ve seen this year:
- 52% off hooks me
- Small ask first: pick your pain point
- Tap = commitment
- Next ask (email + phone) flows in with zero friction.Classic foot‑in‑the‑door: a small "yes" opens the door to a bigger one, which turns into
